Research Interest

I am interested in machine learning problems and their applications in computer vision and image processing. My research has been focused on training hash functions and learning binary codes which are useful in large scale information retrieval. The most challenging part of my research is solving discrete and continuous optimization problems which arise in minimizing the objective function. You can find my CV over [here] .

I am a PhD candidate in the EECS Department of UC Merced. I received my BS in Computer Engineering in 2010 from Iran University of Science and Technology and MS in Artificial Intelligence in 2012 form Sharif Univeristy of Technology, Iran. Since 2013, I have been working towards my PhD degree in machine learning.
